Omogolo Bonjo Mathumo Named HB Botswana Communications Director
The former Duma FM radio host brings a trusted voice to HB Botswana
GABORONE, Botswana – 2 May 2023– HB Antwerp, a technology-driven mineral infrastructure company reshaping supply chains, today announced that it has appointed Omogolo Bonjo Mathumo as Director of Communications for HB Botswana, HB Antwerp’s recently-opened operations in Gaborone. At HB, Mathumo will be responsible for leading communications with stakeholders in Botswana and throughout Africa, spearheading internal communication initiatives, and building out and managing the HB Botswana communications team.
Mathumo is a well-known voice in Botswana and, prior to joining HB, was the host of the Duma FM weekday morning show, the country’s most listened to morning show. Given his background, he brings extensive expertise in the most pressing social, political and economic issues in the country and a close knowledge of Botswana’s media landscape.

Before joining Duma FM, Mathumowas a marketing and communications specialist, working at agencies where he helped clients uncover, create and amplify their brand stories and conduct goal-oriented social public relations strategies. He holds an honors degree in International Business from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Gaborone.
